Zambezi Queen – Accommodation & Dining

Zambezi Queen offers luxury accommodation in the form of 14 tasteful and luxurious suites – 10 standard suites and 4 spacious master suites, all with outer decks.

  • The Zambezi Queen Standard Suites have everything you need to relax in luxurious comfort. Each suite opens onto a front-facing balcony: watch the river gently flow by, the beautiful landscapes and elephant on the riverbank. Fancy a nap? Simply draw closed your full-length sliding shutters. Two of the Standard Suites are triple rooms with an extra bed and can accommodate up to three adults each.
  • Not only are Zambezi Queen Master Suites more spacious but they also have two balconies each, and a panoramic view that ensures you never miss a thing! For added luxury, choose one of the four Master Suites at the bow of the boat. On the larger balcony, you’ll find two deckchairs and a table; the perfect place to enjoy your private front-row seat while the boat is sailing.
  • Dinner: Every mouth-watering dish is prepared by the locally trained Namibian kitchen staff, which combines authentic local flavours with their passion for creating sophisticated meals suited to discerning palates – a culinary experience in its own right

Zambezi Queen – A floating luxury boutique hotel in classes of her own.

Moving along the banks of the great Chobe River, Zambezi Queen is a 5-star, 42-metre (138 feet) long luxury houseboat offering unparalleled sophistication in one of the most remote locations on the planet. Best of all, as a guest on the vessel, you can enjoy a truly unique and adventurous river safari holiday while still being surrounded by complete comfort and elegance.

Each of the 14 suites on Zambezi Queen features air-conditioning and your own private balcony, where you can enjoy unobstructed views of the Chobe River and African landscape beyond. Wake up to the sight of an elephant drinking from the river, or watch a fish eagle take flight – all from the comfort of your own luxurious bed.

Unlike a land-based lodge, Zambezi Queen navigates roughly 25km of the Chobe River, allowing you to explore different vantage points and enjoy unparalleled game viewing. The banks of the Chobe National Park boast one of the densest populations of elephant on the African continent – estimated at approximately 120 000. The Park is also home to a large number of buffalo, leopard and lion, along with a variety of antelope and abundant birdlife.
A stay on-board Zambezi Queen is a different kind of safari. It’s the kind where you get to decide if you want to be up with the birds, or prefer to laze all morning watching game from the comfort of your bed. The itinerary is flexible so while they offer a range of activities on offer, you can choose just how much you want to pack into your holiday or how relaxed you want to be.
